There will be a clinic offered to new players. There is no change for volleyball. Deadline 8-31-10 Soccer will be offered to anyone in grades K-3. Division 1 will be K and 1st grade. This division will play with 11 on the field at a time and will use a #4 soccer ball. Division 2 will be 2nd and 3rd grade; they will play 8 on the field and will also use a #4 soccer ball.  All participants must have shin guards to participate. Games will be played on Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, and Saturday mornings, if we have a huge turnout other nights might be added.  Practices will be at the coaches’ discretion. Uniform shirts will be provided by the park department.  Deadline 8-31-10   Tackle Football will be offered to anyone in grades 4th, 5th and 6th.  We will no longer have 7th grade because they will be participating at Dexter School. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the complex. Games will be played on Saturdays with one night game. Uniforms and equipment will be provided by the park department.  The player must be present at sign up. Players will be weighed, fitted for equipment, and complete a skills evaluation. If player misses sign up night arrangements will need to be made to complete being weighed, fitted and the skills evaluation before the deadline of August 27th. Equipment will be issued on Monday August 30th, and practice will begin on Tuesday August 31st. There are some coaching positions open, if you are interested in coaching please contact me at the park office by phone or email as soon as possible these positions will be filled before sign ups. Please contact me at the park office Monday-Friday (7:30am-Noon, and 1pm-4:30pm) if you have any questions about the upcoming fall sports offered by Dexter Parks and Recreation.
